British actor Joe Anderson was born on March 26, 1982. Both his parents working in the film industry, Joe himself has been acting professionally ever since childhood. He attended Richmond upon Thames College and later the Webber Douglas Academy of Dramatic Art in London.

Joe's early filmography includes several guest appearances in UK tv shows such as Afterlife and Midsomer Murders. Anderson has also worked on stage at the Chichester Festival Theatre.

In 2006, he starred opposite Ed Harris in Agnieszka Holland's Copying Beethoven, playing as the famous composer's young nephew. Thereafter, 2007 saw the release of many of his latest projects: Becoming Jane (in which he did a co-starring role opposite Anne Hathaway and James McAvoy), the Ian Curtis' biopic Control and the much-anticipated musical Across the Universe.
